Mom-in-law... the update
Nov. 21st, 2007 11:45 amWell, it took three days, but they finally got her to Reno and she started treatment at two different clinics yesterday...
then last night she got rushed to the hospital. She's incredibly short of breath, so much that she can't speak. She's been given pain and anti-anxiety meds to keep her comfortable.
She's also signed DNR protocol. We don't know what to do, so... we just kind of have to just sit there and hope she pulls through. We called the church back in Iowa and asked that they get their prayer circle going for her, but there isn't much else we can do. I know when David was ill and everybody said he'd die, they got the circle going for him too. And he lived. That was years ago now. If she pulls through this, even I will become a believer.
